What you will do
The team with SWARCO UK have a vacancy for a Junior Project Engineer based in Milton Keynes. This role will share responsibility for ensuring that products and equipment fully comply with and are approved to the relevant National Highways and European Standards. UK travel and occasional overnight stays will be required.
You will also be:
- Shared responsibility for production and maintenance of detailed test plans
- Perform and support engineering and compliance tests including the recording of results
- Working with Embedded Engineers to resolve software/electronic issues
- Support Approvals and Compliance processes to ensure compliance with all applicable standards
- Assist in identifying opportunities for test automation and the deployment of solutions
- Support of products installed at the roadside
What we are looking for
- Good electronic and mechanical aptitude
- Able to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Full, clean UK driving license.
- Working knowledge of communication protocols an advantage
