What you will do
The team with SWARCO UK have a vacancy for a Project Engineer –in the Milton Keynes area. This role will take responsibility for ensuring that products and equipment fully comply with and are approved to the relevant Highways England and European Standards.
You will also be:
- Ensure project documentation is completed and stored according.
- Product testing to prove that hardware and software builds are operating to specifications.
- Support the resolving of mechanical, electronic or software issues.
- Preparing and conducting training courses on SWARCO products and systems.
- Ensuring that delivered products comply with customer and national standards.
What we are looking for (in order of importance)
- Degree or HNC/HND in related engineering discipline -OR- at least 2 years’ experience in similar role.
- Knowledge of electronic communications such as RS485, Ethernet, SNMP.
- A solid understanding of VPN, router and ADSL/4G configuration.
- Working knowledge of NMCS2 and NRTS an advantage
- Full, clean UK driving license.
