What you will do
Our Melsonby site is our only production site in UK and Ireland and where most of our Traffic Signals are assembled and start their journey to our clients. Our team is currently recruiting for a Production Quality Technician who will be based at our Melsonby (North Yorkshire) location. Your role in Production Quality is to manage the quality testing for all assembled products.
You will also:
- Understand technical drawings and documents to complete the assembly and the quality testing of any assembled product.
- Support and promote company performance standards, including on-time delivery, product quality, lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement and health and safety.
- Adhere to and actively promote 5S principles to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What we are looking for
- Previous hands-on experience in electromechanical product assembly and Panel Building is advantageous.
- Experience in completion of quality inspections with the use of technical drawing and company SOPs.
- Demonstrable expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint etc) is beneficial.
- Logical and creative thinking.
