What you will do
This plays a pivotal role in SWARCO’s environmental and social responsibility goals. Working closely with the QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment) team, monitoring, analysing and improving sustainability performance including contribution and delivery elements of our global and local Net Zero strategy.

All while reporting to our QHSSE Manager. You will also:

  • Support the development and implementation of Carbon Reduction Plans (CRPs).

  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to embed sustainable practices into business operations.

  • Track progress against sustainability KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Promoting how our organisation can have a positive impact on local communities and the environment

 

What we are looking for

  • A degree in (Environmental Science or Sustainability or similar subject) or equivalent experience working in this environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills – approaching complex projects and diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with sustainability software and tools (including – Mobius, LCA Software).
  • Collate and distribute CoSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) assessments and Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Manage the Waste Management Contracts including the required waste licenses, registrations and exemptions.
  • Produce and deliver environmental learning material such as toolbox talks and Environmental Bulletins
