Your challenge
We have a very rare opportunity for a Stores Person within our Dublin operations team based in Inchicore, Dublin. As a Stores Person you will be responsible for the below.
- Manage the receipt, internal movement, and dispatch of materials within the warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation and system updates.
- Maintaining relevant stock levels of all associated equipment in relation to supporting the service centre requirements.
- Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and calibrated in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction or SWARCO policy, producing reports and highlighting shortfalls in process.
- Contributing towards best practice and supporting all internal processes and procedures.
- Identifying improvement opportunities and development areas within the stores process and maintaining an accurate stores database.
- Completion of all relevant documentation
- Monitor and report to the line manager on associated duties
Your profile
Essential
- Conducting physical stores operations
- Knowledge of electronic stock control systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Confident and able to work unsupervised.
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Self-motivated and driven
- Flexible approach
- Full driving licence
- Awareness of COSHH, and health and safety legislation
- Able to work at heights
- Need to be able to stay away/travel overnight
- Able to work flexible hours when required
Desirable
- Forklift truck licence (training can be provided)
- Formal training or demonstrable experience in logistics handling
- Experience in electrical installation works
