We have a really exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to join our expanding team in Ireland.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to gain their electrical qualifications whilst working along side our talented team of qualified Electricians in traffic signal maintenance and installations. You may also be required to work overtime and/or participate in a regular call out roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under supervision of senior electricians to install and maintain traffic signals in the Dublin region
- Competently liaise with both supervisors & managers
- Competently fill in timesheets, job numbers, and vehicle mileage forms
- Learn and maintain best practices based on company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and methodologies
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and PPE in a serviceable condition
- Attend and participate in classes, workshops, and on-the-job training as part of the apprenticeship program
- To ensure that all working practices are in accordance with the Swarco ISO 9001 & 14001 Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental management systems at all times
- To ensure that all PPE appropriate to the task and in line with the RAMS is being correctly worn
- Ensure your vehicle, tools, spares, and equipment to be used are in a safe and serviceable condition
- To be available to attend training courses
- Comply with all QHSSE Regulations and procedures for this role
