We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & Sales Executive to join our team in Swarco UK & Ireland! This role is hybrid working and the right candidate will be located in Melsonby.

Your Challenge

  • Responsible for planning, and organising marketing activities for the UK & Ireland business as part of a global marketing team
  • Responsible for the planning and organising of our industry events and customer user groups
  • Foster a strong relationship with the central marketing team, digital marketing team and creative team; alongside local sales and operations teams, to align the strategy with the regional goals and needs
  • Consolidate and optimize various local customer touch point interactions
  • Feedback market trends and customer insights to recommend adjustments to central marketing strategy, aiming to improve local customer engagement
  • Implement global marketing strategy and G2M approach in local markets, based on regional needs
  • Responsible for (localization of) centrally created sales enablement materials such as datasheets and portfolio presentations
  • Gather local market knowledge

Your Profile

  • Professional experience in marketing, ideally in a B2B environment
  • Experience with event planning and execution
  • Excellent communicator
  • Organised with meticulous attention to detail
  • Diplomatic and calm under pressure
  • A team player but able to work independently
  • Industry-specific knowledge
  • Comprehensive understanding of local market trends
  • Experience with a CRM system is a plus  
  • Proficient English language
  • Valid UK driving licence. Ad hoc travel to SWARCO and other locations will be required.
  • Creative and innovative
  • Right to work in the UK
