Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Strategic HR Project Manager to join the existing HR team based in Basingstoke or Hemel Hempstead on a 12 month fixed term contract. As part of the HR  Team, the main purpose of the role is to work with the HR Director, HR Team and wider business on key strategic initiatives. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will likely be required to work within the business on a regular basis, therefore we are unable to accommodate full time remote working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of HR Projects & Programmes
  • Ensure HR projects are scoped, planned, resourced, stakeholders managed, tools created & delivered within an acceptable time frame

Key Strategic Initiatives

  • CIPD qualified, or equivalent (desirable)
  • Employee Engagement – Pulse, surveys and driving engagement through the organisation
  • Succession Planning – SMT & Foundation for future
  • People Metrics support – design & scope
  • Employee Benefits Review
  • Organisational Development (OD) structure; process for restructure design and resource planning 
  • Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) experience and activity 
  • To assist in, and undertake, ad hoc projects as requested by the HR Director

What we are looking for

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in delivering Strategic HR projects and Initiatives
  • Experience in Employee Engagement, Succession Planning & Employee Benefit Analysis
  • Experience in implementing and driving change through an organisation
  • Experience  and activity in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) including TUPE would be advantageous
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to influence people at all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Competent in MS Office
  • Self-motivated
  • Results oriented
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good team player
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and reside overnight where necessary, dependent upon business needs
