We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Administrator /Trainee Configuration Engineer to join the team in Dublin. This role is to support the traffic signal team who builds, configures, and commissions a wide variety of traffic control equipment. Don't worry if you have limited traffic industry experience, we will provide full product knowledge and training in all aspects of the role and industry. 
You will use your excellent administration, interpersonal, communication and computer skills daily.

What you will do

  • Assist in maintaining Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental accreditations
  • Work to existing procedures as a project controller.
  • Accept works from the client, allocate the works, ensure paperwork is completed, update internal systems and track the progress of works
  • Management of the Data Repository filing system
  • Coordinate technical support for engineers on maintenance contracts
  • Coordination of contract specific tasks, including review and validation of safety tests completed by engineers (Training provided)
  • Complies with all QHSSE Regulations and procedures for this role
  • Provide regular reports on both progress and technical issues to the Head of ITS Ireland
  • Assist in the project planning process by providing accurate timescale estimates for any customer or internally generated change request

What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel etc
  • Excellent client facing communication skills
  • Ability to work on own and or as part of a team.
  • Logical thinker
  • Good communication skills, problem solving skills, team player
  • Full driving licence.
  • Safety awareness.
  • Right to live and work in Ireland
  • Technical background (desirable)
  • Some experience in a traffic control systems environment (desirable)
