Swarco Traffic  UK & Ireland Ltd are a leading supplier of smart, active signage solutions and the latest parking equipment in use across the UK and Europe. We require an organised, self-motivated team player to join us as a Technical Estimator to help prepare costed technical responses to customer’s sales enquiries.

We have a vacancy for a Technical Estimator to join the team based in Melsonby. 

What you will do

  • Costing of customer requirements from enquiries (including equipment, labour, site and plant)
  • Input to accurate bidding documents in line with customer requirements
  • Handover of sales information to other departments within SWARCO
  • Ownership of enquiries for all standard products, ensuring quotation accuracy

What we are looking for

  • Technical Engineering understanding - desirable
  • Cost estimation and quotation experience
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Must be self-motivated whilst working as part of a team
