Description

We have a vacancy for a Configuration and Test Engineer to join our team in Dublin.

What you will do  

As a Configuration and Test Engineer, using your knowledge and experience you will build, configure, and commission a wide variety of traffic control equipment to the customer’s specifications and ensure contractual obligations, terms and conditions are met.  Programming of traffic signal controllers that connect to the clients' SCATS system will be required, and the role will also provide technical support to the engineers in the field.

This role requires good technical knowledge and capability, and excellent client facing communication skills, as you will also be working closely with clients. 

What we are looking for

  • Traffic Principles (advanced)
  • Computer science or equivalent qualification/experience.
  • knowledge of traffic signal controllers and equipment
  • Experience of NGEN, IC4 or PTC 2500 controller configuration software (would be advantageous)
  • Excellent diagnostic skills
  • Excellent Client facing communication skills
  • Ability to advise and coach others
  • The ability to work alone as well as part of a team
  • Organised, trustworthy and self-motivated
  • Full driving licence
