We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our Commercial team based in Dublin.

Purpose of the job

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Ireland the role will require you to have the responsibility of the following:

  • Management of the commercial interests and obligations of the business.
  • Development and day to day management of a team of commercial professionals with a common and consistent approach to pre and post contract activities.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Procurement, Operations and Customers to manage and execute project & programme deliverables efficiently and cost effectively.
  • Ensure the company meets its contractual obligations whilst maximising opportunities to add value and maximise returns.
  • Embed a commercial contracting culture throughout the business.

What we are looking for

In order to fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:

  • 5+ years’ experience gained in a service/project related industry. 
  • Claims and dispute resolution against recognised contract structures.
  • Experience of commercial contract management
  • Extensive experience in various types of project terms and conditions from a financial T&C’s perspective.
  • Excellent, strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and terms and conditions.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel and reside overnight, dependent upon business needs.
  • Full driving licence
